Groceries
Grocery shopping: We have started a fundraiser to raise funds that will enable us to buy groceries for the affected children. This could include a mix of nonperishable foods, such as rice, flour, legumes, oil and canned food. These foods can be assembled into survival kits and distributed to the children and their families to meet their acute food needs.
Farming Initiative: In the longer term, we could start a farming initiative to help war-torn communities grow their own food. This could include training in farming practices, providing seeds and farm equipment, and creating community gardens. This would enable communities to meet their food needs in the long term and reduce their dependence on outside help.
projects
For four years now I have devoted myself to the art of sewing with passion and dedication. But my commitment goes beyond the mere creation of textiles - with the income that I earn from my sewing work, I implement projects that are intended to positively influence the lives of affected children. The fascination for sewing has accompanied me for a long time. In the past four years I have dealt with it intensively, refined techniques and developed a deep understanding of fabrics and designs. This experience not only strengthened my manual skills, but also inspired my creativity. However, what fills my heart the most is the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the world through my sewing work. The fruits of my labor flow into projects aimed at improving the lives of children in difficult situations. It fills me with joy and pride to know that my sewing skills are helping to put a smile on these children's faces and give them a brighter future. It is my goal to further expand this type of commitment and to implement even more projects that benefit children in need. Every piece sewn helps to make their world a little brighter and support their dreams. Through the power of sewing, I want to continue spreading hope and joy where it is most needed.

The conflict in north-west and south-west Cameroon has reached worrying proportions in recent years. These regions, once known for their stunning natural beauty and cultural diversity, are now the scenes of ongoing conflict and humanitarian crises. The conflict has had a tragic impact on the population and socio-economic structure of these areas. Ethnic, cultural and linguistic tensions have long existed in north-west and south-west Cameroon. People in these regions mainly speak English, in contrast to the predominantly French-speaking rest of the country.
In recent years, demands for greater cultural and political autonomy have fueled unrest that eventually escalated into armed conflict. The affected areas are now marked by violent clashes between separatist groups and the Cameroonian government. Separatist movements in the Northwest and Southwest have proclaimed the formation of an independent "Ambazonia" and are fighting for recognition of their autonomy. The government has responded to the separatist movement with security forces, leading to human rights violations and the displacement of civilians. The effects of this conflict are devastating. Thousands of people have been killed, including civilians, security forces and separatists. Hundreds of thousands are fleeing the violence and are living in makeshift camps or as internally displaced persons. Educational institutions have been closed, health care has been severely impacted, and economic activity has plummeted. The international community has repeatedly called for the conflict to de-escalate and has offered humanitarian assistance.
Nevertheless, the situation remains tense and a peaceful solution seems to be a long way off. The conflict in north-west and south-west Cameroon is a painful example of how ethnic and political tensions can lead to widespread violence and suffering while efforts to find a diplomatic solution continue.
